Inception 2010
An obvious 5-star film I rated 4.5 previously because I saw it on a plane and backdated the review. Simply one of my favourite films ever. The conceptualisation of the story still blows my mind: a sci-fi espionage that ends up exploring the themes of guilt and family. Cast is superb and the score.... that ending, with 'Time', is an all-timer.

Nadaaniyan 2025
Seriously, this is such rubbish. Watching this with friends made this fun but even I ran out of steam by the end. They smacked in every Gen-Z reference. Horrific acting from the two nepo kids. Archana Puran Singh horrific as usual. And that Orry jumpscare… lord!
Please un-introduce these clowns.

The Brutalist 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
In awe at the cinematic scale achieved with just $10 million. Rare such films are made. It's the sort of film that absolutely has to be seen in theatre. Privileged to see it in 70mm, at the BFI, in a city filled with Brutalist architecture. The opening shot had my hairs racing: just wow!
Adrien Brody is incredible, little more can be said about his performance through the film. Guy Pearce and Felicity Jones are strong supporting actors, as is…
