  saddest film i have ever watched.

  The first shot of the film shows Seita dead in a subway station, and so we can guess Setsuko’s fate; we are accompanied through flashbacks by the boy’s spirit.

  Film shows that in the time of war everyone become selfish due to survival instinct even your relatives, suddenly you are alone with hunger and sickness while you have little sister and you have to feed her.
