  human connection is so important and that importance is shown here. it fills people with hope and reminds them that they're loved yet the american prison system treats incarcerated people like animals. no visitations 10-15 minute calls, meetings through ipad screens it's heartbreaking to watch and i can imagine it's 100x worse to experience it. finishing "daughters" left me with a bittersweet feeling in my chest and the dance must have been an amazing experience experience for all involved.

  i have loved pete seeger for so long, his and woody guthries music means so much to me i really want to see a pete seeger biopic next.

  my review of this movie is 100% influenced by the awful experience i had in the cinema, other peoples desire to be rude and disrespectful ruins everyone else's enjoyment but to be honest even in a good environment i can't see myself getting any enjoyment out of this as it was jus bad
