You wouldn't believe some of the things these lesbians say to each other. Things like "Let me at that flappy dappy," and, "It's time to plunder your butthole," and, "Taste the wiggler." An interesting look into LGBTQ+ relationships!
Plays with the preoccupations of the currently ascendant generation--liminal spaces, lost media, trauma, etc.--without exploring any to satisfaction.
Seems to rely on the audience’s a priori sympathy with its world-view, (the suburbs are terrible; parents are predictably bigoted and negligent; etc) for the emoting on-screen to have any meaning. (Though I happen to share some of its implicit opinions, I expect something other than mere assertion in my art.)
