I was worried this movie would play itself out quickly having put the hook front and center - kidnappers kidnapping a vampire kid. But it's still so much fun seeing Melissa Barrera kill it as the Final Girl again, especially since we won't be seeing her in Scream 7.
Scary, funny, with excellently choreographed violence. Ending was a bit much, the world was small, and played fast and loose with some vampiric tropes/lore. However, still a well contained one-off vampire flick worth at least one viewing.
