Acting was AMAZING. Cinematography was amazing as well. But also, there was like 0 reason for sita to be the movie. What was actually her role???? Also the plot was SO straight forward. Very obvious revenge plot with few twists and turns. Overall pretty good movie though.

Dune: Part Two 2024
Shit was splendid. Absolute masterpiece. Paul’s shift in mindset is subtly foreshadowed in the first act of the film while becoming more and more prevalent as it continued. Although the “changing a predestined future” trope has been done multiple times in science fiction, Dune 2 still feels like a fresh breath of air. Austin Butler’s casting as Feyd was very well done, down to the accent. A certain duel at the end of the movie was some of the best…

The Haunting of Hill House 2018
Mike Flanagan’s HOHH was not the experience I was expecting it to be; after watching the first episode, I realized that it would exceed all my expectations. This is NOT a horror show. It’s a drama about family and grief, with horror undertones. With the constant flashbacks, we understand the characters in a way that’s not very common in media. Made a letterboxd account just to say that this is one of the best shows of all time.
