A 21st century, gender swapped Dorian Gray. A concept that could’ve very easily been executed poorly, this just gets absolutely perfect. Don’t get me wrong, a very good film as per from Lynch. And whilst I understand there’s a depth of layers and complexities to it, for what those ultimately turn out to be is a narrative that could’ve been told in a far more concise run time.
