  i watched this film at a really weird time in my life. i had covid and was incredibly anxious, depressed, alone, and was preparing to take my life. the feeling i got from watching this movie was unreal. as someone who was bullied, i related heavily to nishimiya, and as someone who was a bully, i related heavily to ishida. seeing my own helplessness displayed in front of me was surreal. but, because of how this movie handles its subject…
