  Transformers: Rise of the Beasts 2023

  Definitely a great change of pace for me right now considering what all I've been watching. As goofy as these movies can be we still need these kinds of movies to exist and surprisingly as goofy as it can get it's got a ton of heart. Probably the best transformers movie since the Shia days and honestly a really cool and epic third act and awesome ending hinting at more down the road. There's definitely something to be enjoyed here. It's not perfect at all but guess what it doesn't have to be it's a transformers movie.

  Ari Aster is in complete control this time around as if he never was beforehand at A24. This movie is a walking talking fever dream that doesn't let you find your footing or feel at ease for the entire 3 hour runtime.
