  came across this randomly on youtube and i've been getting more into the found footage horror genre as of late, so i was instantly intrigued. it's also pretty short, so it's very easy to get through.

  loved the creepiness and how haunting and atmospheric it is. the found footage style really works for horror films like this, and i think the fact that it's set in this old, korean guesthouse out in the middle of nowhere lends something really eerie…

  i actually had fun with this one? maybe it's because i pretty much got what i was expecting with it, and it reminds me of one of those fun bad horror movies i love watching (but better quality because it's an osgood perkins film, after all).

  i don't think anything about it is spectacularly new for the horror genre, and if you're expecting 'longlegs' you're not going to get it with this one, but something about it kind of worked…

  MIFF 2024 - Film #3

  i was really, really hoping to like this one but unfortunately about a couple minutes into it, i just knew that it wasn't really going to work for me. i can absolutely see how others might find themselves connecting to it, but it's a little TOO abstract and meandering for my own personal taste.

  i love libraries, i love books, i love films where nothing happens...but i also need to have either characters and/or relationship…
