Slowly but surely Donnie Darko crawls up on my list of favorite movies.

Donnie Darko is a film you have to watch atleast twice or even more to fully get it. its a complex psychological time-travel plot. But it also features comedic coming of age elements.

Every time i rewatch it i pick up new things involving with the plot that i didn't notice before. Its like completing a puzzle. While this aspect is not for everyone. It is such…

Moreover, the film’s constant reminder that “he’s not Steve Rogers” comes off as an awkward attempt to spin a perceived weakness into a strength.

The movie itself doesn’t do Mackie any favors. The narrative feels lackluster…

So on my first viewing I absolutely despised this. But now I went back into this after catching up on some x-men comics and wanting to watch something you know.

I didn't like it originally because lets be real here the first two acts are really boring. So i didn't even bother finishing it.

Imagine my fucking suprise when I now realized all the good stuff is in the third act.

Also kind of a bummer that we will probably…
