  Way too far from the original story. The plot is not that deep and could have been pushed deeper to keep this "psychological" aspect. And well the musical part is not great. You could remove half of the songs and it would not have changed the movie and that is bad. If you want to do a musical, the musics need to be useful for the progression of the story and that's clearly not the case. The character of Gaga is not explored enough in my opinion. So to conclude not a great movie but has some nice moments that keep it correct.
