Silly, dumb, smart, scary, funny with bonus, out-of-nowhere Sigourney Weaver??? This movie exceeded all my expectations. Plus, cast is stacked with hotties. A very fun, very meta horror parody.

Can’t decide if the scariest thing about this movie is simply how fucking annoying everyone is, or that the over-glorified “cult classic” is just a sad precursor of a far more haunting curse: tik tok culture. 90 minutes of college students filming themselves and narrating their shitty thoughts aloud is true horror. The Blair Witch herself could never. I guess I’m glad to have watched it so I can understand the hype re: found footage, but absolutely will not be watching again.
