Hundreds of Beavers 2022
Made me genuinely laugh out loud so many times, and more than 20 words spoken, I have never thought physical or visual comedy would actually make me laugh so much. And it feels like playing a game and leveling up, every mistake feels like a lesson and it all ties into a nice little bow at the end. It wasn't perfect literature because it's a comedy but for a comedy with this budget, this many beavers, this many words and this length it was such a good story

The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
I think the bowser twerking scene was unnecessary but the chemistry with him and Luigi in that BDSM scene was better than any romcom I've scene.
"Peaches" was a good representation of Bowser trying to glamorise romance with another woman he'll never have instead of embracing his homosexuality and trying to go for peach instead of clearly wanting to confess to Luigi was clearly a ploy to seem strong and masculine in front of his koppa troop. The gay message was a little too on the nose but it's okay. (Fun movie, liked the references)Translated from by -
