Garden state was a movie that made me feel nostalgic first watch. Everything about it screams “early 2000s” but in a good way. I liked the way the shots seemed like wes Anderson shots and the colors just seemed to always be on point. Some parts were predictable and the ending was ok but natalie portmans really hot so would be a disservice to give it anything other than a 4. Also the early 2000s soundtrack really make it better.
