People are being way to harsh with this film! It saddens me even more to know that it's probably gonna get worse when the film is gonna get its theatrical release next year. I hope I'm wrong tho because even if this film is very imperfect, it doesn't deserve to be bashed.
Let's face it right away: this film has flaws, tones of them! Sure it plays it a bit safe with its plot. Yes sometimes it tries too…

Je dois avouer que lorsque Pascal Plante nous a dit à ma classe de l'UdeM, qui le recevait pour une mini masterclass, que son prochain long métrage parlerai des femmes fan de tueur en série j'était intrigué de ce que cela allait donner de la part du réalisateur de Les faux tatouages ...

Almost 7 years later I think Hollywood only produce like 2 or 3 other blockbuster that were this entertaining and this well made. That’s what happen when you put Spielberg in charge of an ambitious project like this one
Man, could you imagine if all Hollywood blockbusters were as creative as this one?!
