Let's just pretend we didn't see that squid. I had a hard time understanding where the fuck was the baby coming from and there were a lot of little incoherences but why not. Anyway it was great (not the squid obviously or the toe sucking but yk). Special mention to the warden who is a real ally go king. And anna asking "was it worth it, all this, the wedding, the mockery, going to prison, abandoning me, was it worth it" while elisa comes back riding hits hard.

Alright, i liked it then i saw that in the book they had a happy ending. So it made me think about how gay movies are always so violent (i mean there were two rape scenes and a forced abortion like wtf) and why can't anyone make a movie about women in love without adding depression, violence, death, tragic ending, toxic traits, homophobia or whatever. So they should have put a little trigger warning like ALRIGHT FOLKS YOU'RE GONNA SEE TWO GAY WOMEN BEING RAPED BY VIOLENT MEN AND A GIRL BEING FORCED TO ABORT BY HER MOTHER AND ALMOST DIE.
