Never saw this iconic movie before and came away very impressed. It’s an action thriller that questios what it means to be in ignorance, and enters the inner recesses of human psychology to find out.   Classic 80’s comedy about Michael Dorsey (Dustin Hoffman), a struggling and pretentious actor who disguises himself as a woman named Dorothy Michaels to get a part in a daytime soap opera. There he meets and falls in love with starlet Julie Nichols (Jessica Lange), and tries to keep up appearances in his work and private life. Is this a problematic premise in 2025?
