It’s either this or Brief Encounter. So simple, but with important and timeless themes. There’s new details I catch every time, and the ending scene outside the courthouse feels so freeing every time.

Inside Out 2 was pretty good, but I’m still really unsure whether I like the original more or less. Usually, the original movie has the upper-hand since it is the one which sets a good foundation, but there’s just so much stuff in this movie to love. This is the first time I’ve been to the theatre in ages also.
The ideas are arguably more creative in the sequel, as is the experimentation with animation styles. A highlight of the film…
