The Last Republican 2024
Was very unsettling to watch. It’s an interesting way of framing the declining state of American democracy. Even more worrying that questions of democratic procedures and norms end up becoming heated partisan issues.
Even better, however, was that after the screening, we met Mr. Kinzinger over video call, who offered interesting insight on the current state of affairs in the United States and it’s democracy and how to deal with them abroad.Translated from by

The Powerpuff Girls Movie 2002
You’ve just sat 6 hours on a plane watching one cinematic masterpiece after another, it’s dark outside the side window, the light has been dimmed inside the plane aisles and the passengers are beginning to fall asleep. You’ve still got another 7 hours to go, so you should probably do the same.
That is when I turned on my accommodated screen and pressed play on this movie. Was I tired: Very much so. Yet I still watched it and enjoyed it - every second, in fact. When others are asleep, I watch the powerpuff girls saving the city before their bedtime, past my bedtime.Translated from by -
Downfall 2004
Yup, this is still the greatest movie ever made when it comes to humanizing evil. Screw it, just humanzing in general.
The fact that this was even pulled off, is astounding to me. What a unique experience. It is films like these that make you remember them and the specific experiences and feelings connected to them.
