I knew going in that this movie was going to have deep, real world themes because the director is Greta Gerwig. I was not prepared for this movie to shoot me in the head and dig me a shallow grave from how emotional it actually turned out to be.
I’m a trans man so I don’t personally identify with womanhood, but this movie brought up a lot of the feelings and experiences from being raised and socialized as a girl…
