    This movie delved heavily into the psychological of living a lifetimes worth of experiences, and snapping back to reality. Some can handle the difference, and others forever wondering if they are still dreaming. What I loved about this movie is that it portrayed the main character going through a journey of loss and redemption, with the twist of his mind being his worst enemy. The guilt of losing his wife infringing upon his mission, and thus complicating the plot shows a deep understanding of how a dream based machine can a blessing and a curse. The story's medium is well picked, and performed spectacularly.

    This movie falls under the genre of tragic romance beautifully, and relatable in this day and age. Even though I saw this year's ago, I still hold onto the meaning this movie conveys. In real life, relationships can be difficult to pursue individual aspirations while maintaining a healthy partnership if both parties are not on board. However, what this movie does, despite the bittersweet ending, is that it's okay to move on when both people are chasing their dreams and their happy.
