really glad this film avoided the trope of the main character “going to the dark side” and getting saved by someone later. cam always knew she was right; the friends she made only emboldened her preexisting sense of self.
the miseducation of cameron post is at its core a film made by queer people, for queer people. it’s both heartfelt and heartbreaking, finding those moments of queer joy amidst the pain we’ve all experienced in some form or another.
