  The Thin Red Line is a great film, but I do have some complaints.

  While I do think the acting is good, and that the film as a whole contains many of the elements that I like about war films, I felt that The Thin Red Line had some elements that detracted from it. My primary complaint is that the last 50 minutes or so is slow and a noticeable dip in quality when compared to the first two hours…

  I heard that story too but the guy was missing a foot. 

  Saw is one of those films that has a very bad reputation because of the future installments in the franchise. Unlike the later films, The first Saw film is not that violent, and is on the tamer side as far as horror films go. It is also nowhere near as disturbing as the sequels. Saw is an excellent film who is no where near as bad as its reputation and its sequels. If you like films that have many small details that all tie together at the end than you will love this film.
