so funny, kinda dry which i like. the story made sense but made no sense which was where sm of the beauty lied and it was like they were just taking the piss out of a lot of things but in a light and non offensive way. also showed the communal nature and funny mannerisms of persians too which were endearing to me

the content makes it hard to watch at times. cinematic style goes crazy as is his forte: constantly moving, hectic filming with dull, pulsating audio that builds up and up and up. a plethora of red and orange and yellow lights that fill rooms and make them feel off. definitely an experience to watch, he’s always able to make me feel so connected and in it
