  Mid ass movie. I watched it for Adam Driver and so I think the acting isn’t the problem, both main characters were wonderful. Their relationship was very tender and bittersweet. It’s really just mid writing, the story felt plain and something I’ve seen/heard before.

  Okay. WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE CHANDELIER FALL TIME?!!! It’s a beautiful movie and the singing was wonderful although you simply cannot compare to the original broadway cast. I love Raoul. Christine seemed a little aloof and I really wish they hadn’t changed so many lyrics because Erik and Christine’s relationship ended up feeling way too sexual and almost primal. I also wish they hadn’t made so many singing parts speaking parts it kind of made it tense and awkward. Visually speaking, absolutely delicious. Especially in masquerade and the depiction of Phantom’s lair.
