Good One 2024
Right after the movie ended, I was like, “wait, what did I just watch? Did anything actually happen in this movie?” But then I sat with it for a while and realized that I really enjoyed this movie and really appreciate the careful attention to detail that led to the climactic moment between Sam and Matt. I think this movie is extremely cleaver in its subtlety and does a great job of portraying the microagrressions women (and particularly young women) experience from the men in their lives, even from men who love them.

A Quiet Place Part II 2020
I really liked that a deaf girl gets be the hero. Her character was the high point of the film. However, the rest of the movie was too derivative and riddled with logic problems to enjoy.
