Studio Ghibli proudly presents yet another perfect movie to watch on a peaceful rainy day

Though not on par with Ghibi’s absolute BEST movies, Arrietty is still a solid watch. The concept is familiar to me after having watched other movies centered around tiny humans like Fantastic Planet, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, or The Borrowers (which I’m 90% sure is a direct influence on this movie)

The animation is peak Ghibli and the overall immersion is top tier. You…

What can I say? It’s a very sweet movie

Inside Out is fun! the story and message are simple enough to resonate with anyone who goes in with an open mind. I enjoy the originality, and the zany voice acting for the five emotions really reels me in. Even in less important scenes, I still feel entertained watching the five cute little characters interact and bicker.

This is probably one of the best reboots of a franchise that I’ve ever seen

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes is the modernization of one of the most creative sci fi concepts to come out of the 1960’s. The CGI and modern effects are a nice update, and the sci-if elements are more fleshed out as well. These reasons make the movie easier for me to take seriously compared to the original, and they only get expanded upon…

    Alice in Wonderland

    ★★★½

Alice In Wonderland is a classic for a reason. The animation in this movie is the best from the time it was made, and you can really see the influence from this movie branch out in all kinds of media. For example, the movie I watched before this: Spirited Away; or even one of my personal favorite rap albums, Little Simz’s Sometimes I Might Be Introvert.

I feel like Alice walked so many other stories could run. It may be a little directionless but it’s still a solid watch.
