  - victorian vibe really well established with the first few scenes
  - lily rose depp’s forehead was very strong
  - travelling scenery was beautiful 
  - dracula was not scary enough
  - massive plot hole: movie would have been over in 30 min if they were all real Christians and just went to church but that’s more a critique of the original story rather than Eggers’ portrayal
  - Willem Defoe killed it as usual; they could not have found a better fit for the role
