Lost in Translation 2003
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
From my POV, Bob and Charlotte had one thing in common and that’s all. The directors did a good job in showing monotonic life of Bob, while also portraying an unhappily married wife in Charlotte, which is what drew the two to each other. In saying that, their reasons aren’t leaning toward attraction or infatuation, more so boredom IMO.
The film was good. Going into it, I was hoping for a highly sentimental film, which wasn’t 100% delivered, however, the directing was good, just wasn’t super invested into the characters.
