While the main character Marji exists in a society utterly different from my own (Tehran Iran) I very much related to her character. I really enjoyed how honestly a cartoon could depict the realities of tragedy and war. I found it to be informative in regards to middle eastern culture/conflict/ Islamic revolution, while also being incredibly entertaining. I liked the utilization of color in specific positive/current moments (most of the film is black and white). Love
