I was tempted by a punk rock Johnny Knoxville. Was it worth it? Maybe.

I first watched this film in 2012, in my first year English class in university. I remember thinking, “Huh. Movies can be like this?” I had never seen a Kubrick film, and probably the only black and white film previously being “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

I remember it feeling like a lightbulb turning on in my mind. It’s a fantastic revisit to a film that was integral to me, y’know, actually discovering film.

Peter Sellers and George C Scott are perfection.

Unfortunately much too plausible and relevant during today’s world politics.

Very cute, funny, and some hilarious animation. I wish the story had more depth (and characters!) but totally worth the watch.

A mediocre movie in all possible ways. What a shame to waste one of the most talented casts ever. This guy had PSH and gave him nothing to do. Editing is noticeably bad, and even Deakins couldn’t save the movie with endless overly obvious shots. Blech.

Really enjoyed this! Had a ton of fun. Props to Mia and Skarsgard for having so much confidence in B Cronenberg. Luckily, it paid off. Cronenberg’s direction can still use some refinement, but he’s clearly a very capable filmmaker and I’m looking forward to his next project.

definitely more commercials than content- super distracting. Segments were about 2 1/2 minutes before I had to stare at JK Simmons do an Insurance ad 45 separate times.
