  My fists are still clenched after watching Green Room days ago. The movie was lean and exhilarating, while also allowing time for the characters to breathe and reflect. Saulnier continues to portray extreme violence in a straight forward and very real manner similar to his previous film Blie Ruin.   Truly oppressive in its portayal of a concentration camp prisoner on a quest to bury the body of what he thinks may be his son. Every glance between characters intimates sharp meaning. As the film drags you along, the question becomes whether Saul will choose to stand by the living or continue to fight for the dead. The camerawork is completely immersive in this best foreign language Oscar winner. Strap in for a rough one.
