Ma Vie de Courgette is a beautiful, brilliant, and brave story told as an animated stop-motion short film. While brief, this has all the humor that Tim Burton lacks, and the murky morals that Wes Anderson fails to deliver in his fables.

I find it interesting that we empathize with all the characters we see, but one. And we are repelled by all the characters we don't see, but one. Intentional or not, I loved this emotional Yin-Yang.
