Possibly the peta anthem?
Didn’t know what to expect from this but to its credit it’s a phenomenally grounded story. I found myself enjoying the philosophical undertone about what endows intelligence or freedom, even if not the focus. The visual effects are great, especially considering how monumental this task must have been in 2011. Overall a great experience, and not just for the expected apes riding horses and taking down helicopters.
This is just the x-box 360 if it was turned into a movie by a witch. I can’t explain why but that’s my best description of everything that just occurred.
Megamechs fighting alien designed mega aliens ft Charlie Day (who I can only assume is playing himself but under an alias) has some good moments.
Best part of the movie was the subtitle:
I’m gonna get more cheese in me. Honey, do not eat all that cheese.
being stuck on screen the entire movie. It added the depth of character all the scenes were lacking.
Was hoping for a more conclusive story given how much exposition the entire first movie was dedicated to. Timbo is Joan of ark if Joan of ark was Jesus, then drank a spicy cocktail that gave him god powers, but god powers are not that fun cause then there’s no stakes and so we kind of just watch tomatee roll out his plan and deliver lines like he’s in a high school showing of the little mermaid. All the pretty pictures were nice! Worth seeing cause it seems to be somewhat relevant and you’ll at least see some good computer generated landscapes.
