Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
So beautifully weird and insane. All the actors were terrific but Yeoh and Hsu absolutely stood out. The visuals combined with the score were frequently breathtaking, especially the final third of the movie. Wish I would have seen this one when it was in theaters. Not really a “hey it’s that girl”, but Jenny Slate showing up was enjoyable.

The Godfather 1972
Wanted to like it more than I did. I can obviously see why it’s viewed as a masterpiece. Actors all brought their A games, especially Pacino. His dissent throughout the movie was very captivating. Looking forward to finishing the saga. I need to read up on how Brando landed on that accent. Vigoda wins my “hey it’s that guy” award.

First time viewing. I thought I had caught large chunks of it back when it came out, but watching it all the way through now, it was pretty much all brand new to me. Been chasing that Space Movie high since Interstellar and this is one of the standout 90s offerings, obviously. There were incredible stakes and everything that could have gone wrong, seemed to have gone wrong (well, almost everything), and yet at times it felt like it did…
