  A true psychological horror. The few crumbs of gore sprinkled throughout were more than enough to make your hair stand on end. Robert Egger’s sparing use of truly disturbing imagery and script is overwhelmingly more entertaining than horror films that are comprised of an endless stream of scares. A style comparable to Ari Asters. 

  I salute Eggers in his ability to duplicate the incredibly human tendency to make sense of the inexplainable.
