honestly i appreciate this movie simply bc of the multitudes that it contains. dont really feel like elaborating on that further than mentioning how it seems to both represent, offend and uplift sex workers. which is actually kinda based bc it showcases that not every sex worker does sex work for the same reason, and almost like they’re not a monolith! amazing performance by mikey madison overall.

haven’t cried in forever and just saw this in imax. so that did change

just a really solid story w two characters that whose contrasting differences were so intriguing and dynamic. 

jesse eisenberg’s monologue at the dinner table was AMAZING! love that this film brought in a survivor of the Rwandan genocide to relate to the descendent of the Holocaust survivors. very cool parallel, and so genuine too.

picture this: your roommate picks this movie for both of you to watch. your roommate goes to their room 15 minutes in and leaves you to watch this disturbing film alone.

 whole time i felt like i was secondhand spiraling as these people succumbed to having their sangria spiked w a fuck ton of LSD (my actual worst nightmare since trying acid once).

the group dance scene at the beginning was majorly cunt i will say. kinda need this scene to be studied
