This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I tried hard to like this film and it was fine until Mat cheated on Jules.
It’s just another example of Hollywood trying to normalise infidelity which played in with a lot of the woke bullshit in this film. Mat’s infidelity does fit into his character as a weak, low self-esteemed man that needs constant gratification and validation.

About 25 minutes into this film, I was already thinking about how harshly I would word this review; a standard American film which was pseudo-intellectual at best. This piece does have an irritating obviousness to it, and it really doesn't actually discuss anything of meaning as hard as it tries to achieve that new wave intellectual aesthetic. The Big Short 2015
Clearly a film that has not been by those at the Fed, ECB and BoE. Seems like the 2021 sequel is on the way. Fantastic film regardless, it was my introduction into the economic sphere as a teenager, and helped me decide my career path. Triple A rating, and no, its not some re-packaged shit bag of CDOs ;)
