Would never typically log a TV show on Letterboxd, but for all the shows that claim to, Twin Peaks (and it's follow-up, The Return) are likely the only shows that actually truly transcend the medium. So... lookgged. RIP David Lynch

Boat Leaving the Port 1895
I think that this movie delivers pretty much what you expect. Fans of boats will not be disappointed by what this film has to offer, but it also has a broader appeal to those less familiar with boating and sailing. Unfortunately, in trying to appeal to everyone, it's clear the film really loses it's own identity. A pretty standard entry into the 'Things Being Filmed' cinematic universe, but definitely one worth checking out!

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 2024
incredible experience. george miller doesn't disappoint. very different beast from fury road, the leaps forward in time allow the movie to feel more like a series of vignettes at times. similar to 3,000 years of longing, but unlike 3kyl, furiosa really sticks the landing. a more slower-paced and thoughtful return to the wasteland than i anticipated going in, but i definitely appreciate the change in tone, and that isn't to say miller doesn't know when to ratchet things up for some incredible action set-pieces, either.
