Subpar writing was subsumed by the actions on screen. Story elements were well lifted by crucial plot points. The VFX and camera movements didn't disappoint as much as the background music pieces.
Overall film was super energetic and is fun to witness.

Gorgeous cinematography that cements Sorogoyen's position as a filmmaker who possesses the calibre to inject technicalities subtly over creativity. The pulsing, unnerving score that reflects the building hostility between the two households in the film. The Beast features powerful performances from all major players and Sorogoyen allows this performance is to come alive through his repeated use of long takes.
One of the very best of 2022.

The film is supremely driven with the art of story-telling and it's cinematography. The other aspects that slummed down was the editing and the art design, which could have been much better. The background score and the lighting keys stabilized some of the loop holes. The subtle and minimalist acting that carved through it was the headliner of this project. Overall, it's a great opportunity to watch a film with such unadorned and uncomplicated narrative and yet full of artistic embellishments.
