Black Adam 2022
What a fun movie! This is near exactly what I want when I go to see a superhero film. Black Adam managed to stay fresh even though the comic book movie market is so over saturated. I liked the introduction of the ‘Justice Society’ and the subsequent fight scenes were great. The script needed work but I had a lot of fun with the movie - definitely one to see on the big screen, the vfx deserve it!

The Northman 2022
What a strange movie. It had so many layers and so much depth. The scenery was beautiful and the fact that most of it was shot on location helped the immersion into the story. It isn’t my type of movie but I can see the how well it’s crafted and I give it props for that - if you have the chance, I’d recommend seeing it in theatres because it’s so cinematic!

So much could’ve been done with this story that it’s sad they chose to do so little. The beginning was interesting and the story fell flat as they tried to redeem the sisters, instead of embracing the fact that they’re wickedly devious.
