Man on the Moon 1999
this was an absolutely infuriating watch. andy kaufman was definitely an enigma and this movie does nothing to try to address him as such. a series of important on-screen moments with lacklustre attempts to come up with a background does not a good movie make.
either make a biopic that tries to understand the person behind the character, or portray him as a fully indistinguishable caricature that he presented himself as; don't try to do both and make slop.
