  Lived up to the expectations! The whole time I was asking myself "What the hell is going on??? " and couldn't really see what was coming next. Confusing at first, it gets really intense with the chase scene and takes you in for the rest of the film. Loved the soundtrack as well.

  I decided to watch this for all the right reasons and that’s why I liked it so much and why it feels so rewarding. If I hadn’t spent months learning history I would not have sat through this 3 hour film. It turned out to be exactly what I needed.

  P.S. I feel like the poster here doesn’t represent what the film is about, I expected it to be centered around some kind of an epic love story, which isn’t the case.

  I'm raising this to 5 stars because ever since I saw the film for the first time a couple of weeks ago I come back to it every single day. Far too many reasons why I think it's a masterpiece. Virginie Ledoyen is certainly the biggest of them. The wonderful & subtle performance she delivers here is one of the best I've ever seen. An experience I want to relive over and over again.
