his ability to portray trump without making him a caricature paired with the evolution of the performance throughout time was phenomenal.
i didn’t know anything about roy cohn before this, found out he was a terrible person, but jeremy strong is so outstanding that I felt bad for roy at the end. (which you really shouldn’t!)
overall, a very interesting way to analyze a relationship that was so influential to the donald trump we see today.

I was captivated from start to finish because the film is so beautifully lived in. the family is real, their pain is real and their fear is real.
the emphasis of physical media of pictures, videos, and documents is so important to be able to remember and prove a life once lived.
Fernanda Torres’ performance is so layered and I couldn’t keep my eyes off the screen.
just absolutely stunning!
p.s. my dad (who doesn’t watch foreign films because of subtitles) said it was the best movie he had seen all year.
