The Count of Monte Cristo 2024
Disappointed by yet another failed adaptation of one of my favorite books. The movie on it’s own it’s pretty good and I enjoyed it, but I’m sure I would have had a better time watching it if I hadn’t read the book first. I liked the 2002 version more not because it was a better adaptation, not at all actually, but it was more emotion-provoking and had some great memorable quotes and scenes.
