Poor Things 2023
A bit of an odd film (and introduction to this director’s work) but an enjoyable one, especially with all its deeper details and perspectives of discovery and womanhood. The first third is a bit of a rocky start but does lay out the story and its characters in a well manner but doesn’t seem to really pick up until half of the shenanigans her and Mark Ruffalo are really laid out. The whole cast was quite humorous and presented their morals/tribulations very nicely. Just wish I didn’t have to sit through so much taming strange to express a point about Bella’s character jesus
