  I cannot fault a single thing about this show.
  Well, maybe some shitty CGI but that's only about 2 scenes across the whole 5 episodes.
  All the hype is real. Incredible show. The amount of detail that's gone into making it feel as genuine as possible is utterly outstanding.
  The casting is entirely and completely flawless. All the actors not only play their roles perfectly, but even look astoundingly similar to their real life counterparts- sometimes it's bordering on uncanny.…

  Afgan: The Soviet Experience 1989

  ★★★½ Added

  A very real & personal documentary following the lives of Soviet soldiers in Afghanistan. A good amount of the movie is spent with a BTR crew, and their opinions on what their intervention in the country's civil war is really achieving. At just over 40 minutes though, it feels unsatisfactorily short, but the amount of stories and views which the documentary manages to fit into such a short period- without making it feel rushed or too condensed- is impressive.
