  “So this is what we’re reduced to, voting for the least worst candidate” 

  I wanted to watch something on Election Day to get my mind off of things, so I picked this having no idea what it’s about and ended up by pure coincidence watching the definitive movie about the 2024 Election 

  Wonderful movie. Wonderful performances all around. One of the strongest original scripts of the year. Beneath the politics and priesthood lies a great character study. I always admire a film about the church that’s actually nuanced instead of a one note horror film or propaganda piece

  The CREED films do the best job of developing their own style and not relying on our memory of ROCKY. Better than any other legacy films have. Notable how the new CREED has an entirely hip-hop soundtrack. No Rocky theme. The camera is always inside the ring, never above like in the Rocky films. They’ve slowly eased Into themselves. Each one getting progressively further from the Rocky tropes while still holding onto the DNA. Compare this to Rise of Skywalker…
