The remaining one star is from subjecting dear friends to another viewing. This film does not hold up on a second viewing.
Basic problem is that first time around it's kinda fun because you have no idea what's gonna happen. Second time around you remember what's next and you're robbed of the joy of having no clue. Maybe in like 15 years when I've completely forgotten it'll be fun to go back.
It also retains a star because it made me really enjoy watching star wars episode 1, jarjar super cut.
So yeah, 1 star. On average 2.5 stars, which is probably a bit generous.

This is not a good film. This is a bad film but it's one of the most compelling I've seen in years. I'm really glad I missed it in theatres and instead watched it with some friends and a few beers, I feel like the theatre vibes would absolutely suck.
